10 Year Anniversary
Kelly Clarkson was on a new TV show called American Idol, lord of the Rings: The Two Towers was in theaters, Intel released the Pentium 4 and Apple had recently released a new device, the iPod. It was the year 2002 and three friends in Brantford formed ATM Web Design.
Starting out through a government program ‘Summer Company’, ATM sold a type of Email Letterhead, and offered inexpensive web design to non-profits and small businesses.
ATM grew quite quickly and expanded into reselling Web Hosting to supplement the Web Design. This is the time of the dot com bubble burst, Web Design companies were going under and the industry went through some big changes – but ATM continued to grow into what we are now.
Today, on our 10th anniversary, we operate 8 of our own web servers across 3 countries and two continents, forecasting 2 more servers in the next year; and offer a wide range of services including:

- Web Development (back-end)
- Shared Web Hosting
- Reseller Web Hosting
- VPS (Virtual Private Servers)
- Offsite/Online Backups
- Social Networking
- PPC Advertising
We are also in the process of testing a new Collaboration Tool similar to Dropbox but designed with businesses in mind – seamlessly share your data across multiple devices, always in sync.
In celebrating an anniversary which so few companies reach, we have some exciting announcements.
